1. My Tet Holiday Schedule

Tet is my favorite holiday because I can spend time with my family, enjoy delicious food, and have fun. Before Tet, I helped my parents clean the house and decorated it with peach blossoms, kumquat trees, and red ornaments. We also bought new clothes and prepared special dishes like “bánh chưng” and “bánh tét” which are very important for Tet.

On New Year's Eve, my family gathered to enjoy a big meal and watched fireworks. At midnight, we wished each other good luck for the new year. The next morning, I wore my new clothes and visited my grandparents. They gave me lucky money in red envelopes, and we shared kind wishes.

During the next few days, I visited relatives, ate traditional food, and played games with my cousins. Besides that, we went to the pagoda to pray for health and happiness. Tet is always a joyful and special time for me!

2. Trip to Da Nang

This Tet, my family took a wonderful trip to Da Nang. It was a special holiday because we usually stay at home, but this time, we decided to explore a new place. We traveled by plane, and the short flight was exciting.

When we arrived, the weather was cool and fresh. We visited many famous places like My Khe Beach, Marble Mountains, and Dragon Bridge. At night, the city was bright with colorful lights and beautiful Tet decorations. We also enjoyed delicious local food, like mì Quảng and fresh seafood.

On the second day, we went to Ba Na Hills. I loved walking on the Golden Bridge with its giant stone hands. We took many photos and enjoyed the cool air.

On the last day, we woke up early to visit a local market and bought souvenirs. I bought some dried fruits and handmade gifts for my grandparents. After that, we had one last meal at a seafood restaurant before heading to the airport. Even though I was a little sad to leave, I felt happy because we had a great time. This Tet trip was unforgettable, and I hope we can travel again next year!

3. Trip to Dalat

This Tet, my friends and I took a wonderful trip to Dalat. It was my first time traveling without my family, so I felt both excited and a little nervous. We took a night bus, and when we arrived early in the morning, the weather was cold and foggy, making the city look mysterious and beautiful. We quickly put on our jackets and went to a small roadside café to enjoy hot soy milk and warm bread.

During the trip, we visited many famous places like Xuan Huong Lake, the Flower Garden, and Langbiang Mountain. We rented bicycles and rode around the peaceful streets, taking photos of the colorful Tet decorations. At night, the city was lively with music, and we watched a small fireworks show near the market. We also tried Bánh tráng nướng, a crispy rice paper snack, which tasted even better in the cool weather.

On the last day, we bought some souvenirs at a local market. I picked some dried fruit and tea for my parents, while my friends bought strawberry jam and handmade scarves. After a final walk around the city, we had a bowl of hot noodle soup before taking the bus home. We were tired but happy, and I knew this Tet trip would be an unforgettable memory! It was the perfect way to start a new year, and I hope to visit Dalat again one day.

4. A Nice Tet Memory

One of my best Tet memories was watching the fireworks with my family on New Year's Eve. We went to a big park, and as the night got darker, the excitement grew. Everyone was waiting for the fireworks, and I could feel the energy in the air.

When the fireworks finally began, it felt magical. The sky lit up with bright colors—red, blue, and gold—and the explosions made my heart race. I couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful display. The sounds were so loud and powerful that it felt like they were filling my entire body.

I felt so happy and peaceful at that moment, surrounded by my family, all of us sharing the same joy. Watching the fireworks made me feel hopeful for the new year. That night, I truly felt the spirit of Tet, and I will never forget how special it was.

5. My Family Year-End Party

Every year, my family has a special party to celebrate the end of the year. This year, we held a party at my house. My parents cooked a big meal with all our favorite dishes, like fried spring rolls, grilled chicken, and sweet and sour soup. We also had steamed fish, noodles, and fruit salad. The table was full of delicious food, and everything smelled amazing. The house was decorated with colorful lights and flowers, making it look so festive.

At the party, we all gathered around the table, talked about our year, and laughed together. After eating, we played board games and card games. I enjoyed spending time with my cousins and siblings, sharing funny stories and jokes.

As midnight came, we went outside to watch the fireworks. We cheered and wished each other a happy new year. It was a joyful night, and I felt so grateful for my family. I am already looking forward to next year’s party!
